NO TIME SPENT

"NO TIME SPENT" is an out reach program for at risk youth and there families. The program inspired by Mr. Lucas's Poem "No Time Spent."

 Mr. Alexander Lucas is our motivational speaker for this program. His Empathatic passion for this population comes from his life experience as a  gang member growing up in the city of Detroit. His life began to change because of his father strongly urging him to accept a football scholarship from Missippi Valley State University. Accepting the college scholarship and the college experience inspired change. Mr. Lucas made change beford it was too late . 

Mr. Lucas brings over 30 years of working with this population of youth. He is currently a Facility Manager of one of Wayne County's Detention/Treatment Facilities. He has trained many staff in the juvenile justice services. Most of all, he has touched the lives of so manyadjudicated youth.

Today, Mr. Lucas extends his knowledge, experience, his care and concern in a greater way in hopes to steer youth and their families in the right direction before adjudication.

I VIEW THIS PROGRAM AS A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO DEALING WITH YOUTH, WE SPEND MOST IF NOT ALL OF OUR TIME AND RESOURCES ON YOUTH IN CRISIS, WE AT LG PRODUCTION HAVE COME UP WITH A PROGRAM THAT ATTEMPTS TO DEAL WITH YOUTH BEFORE IT BECOMES A CRISIS SITUATION.
BY REACHING OUT TO THOSE BORDER LINE YOUTH THAT NEED TO HAVE ALTERNATIVES TO THE GANG BANGERS LIFE STYLE, WE BRING TOGETHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE SEEN THE INNER WORKINGS AND RECOGNIZED THE VICIOUS CYCLE THAT THE STREETS CAN REPRESENT, PEOPLE THAT HAVE RISEN ABOVE THE HYPE OR TRYING TO REMAIN STRAIGHT, THROUGH IT ALL.
