Alexander C. Lucas was born and raised in the city of Detroit, Michigan to Alexander and Ernastein Lucas. Alexander lost his lovely mother at the age of seven. He along with his siblings were raised by Mr. Alexander Lucas Sr. During his senior year at Detroit's Kettering High School, He received a scholarship to play football at Mississippi Valley State University. He was encouraged by his father to accept the scholarship. Accepting this scholarship saved Alexander from a gang life style. After four years of college, Alexander began his career as a Yourth Specialist determined to reasch out to troubled youth. Throughout his mission, he has been promoted within the juvenile system. Now, a Facility Manager at a Wayne County Treatment Facility, he trains staff to help change as many lives as possible.

Mr. Lucas extends his career by reaching out to troubled youth with Motivational Speaking. He welcomes invitations or opportunities to speak to youth involved in gangs or gang related activities.

Alexander's testimony is " No Time Sen." As a youth he was involved in gang activity, but later abandoned that lifestyle when he realized the life altering affects. His message is, "It's not too late if you are willing to begin to change your mindset and your thinking errors now !"

Alexander is the Author of, " An O.G. Like Me"  Inner Thoughts of an Urban Mind Published by LG Productions in 2005'. Alexander also composed a CD of his Spoken Word Poetry in 2005/ He is co owner of the LG Productions Production Company,  in business since 2004, Motivational Speaker of "No Time Spent Program" an outreach program for at risk-youth.

Alexander's latest work entitled" REVELATIONS OF AN O.G." is a medaly of poems written by Alexander flavored with his "O.G. Like Me" poetry style. Mr. Lucas is currently working on his autobiography.
